FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS
The surgery offers a range of appointments during opening hours 08.00am - 6.00pm.
In addition to these we are offering early morning appointments (7.00-8.00am) for commuters on either a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
The practice also offers booked appointments on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday of each month 8.30am - 11.00am.
- You may see any doctor in the practice but it is preferable to see one doctor consistently, especially for one episode of illness.
- We request patients to ring first thing in the morning if an appointment is needed.
- GP appointments may ONLY be booked ON THE DAY and 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

2) Online using ‘Patient Access’ (permitted to anyone over the age of 16)
This will let you book and cancel appointments online using the internet. To use this service you will need to come in to the practice and register for online services.
Once you have registered you will be given information to take away, which will enable you to create your online account. Then you will be able to book, cancel and view your existing appointments. For more information, click here. At present we are only offering doctors appointments on Patient Access.
You can also check, cancel and review your own appointments via the automated telephone booking system at anytime night or day!

•At the request of a GP
•To discuss blood tests
•To discuss investigation results eg MRI/x-rays/ultrasound
•To discuss hospital appointment outcome – eg after an endoscopy
How to have an effective telephone consultation?
•Make sure you are ready to take the call at the time given.
•Make sure you are in an area where you can take the call.

WATFORD EXTENDED ACCESS (WEA)
GP appointments are now available 7 days a week in Watford and Three Rivers. Patients registered with a GP practice in either Watford or Three Rivers can now make an appointment to see a GP at the weekend, Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm and 3pm - 7pm, Sundays 9.00am - 1.00pm. Appointments for blood tests can also be booked on Sunday mornings. During these appointments your health record may be accessed and viewed by clinical staff other than your GP or a GP at your practice. Please be assured that your confidentially will be maintained. Please ask the receptionist for further details.
We strive to see every patient as close to their appointment time as possible and therefore if you are 10 minutes late or more to your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. One or two late patients can cause the entire daily schedule to fall behind. We will try to accommodate late‐comers as best as possible, but cannot compromise on the quality and timely care provided to our other patients. Priority will be given to patients who arrive on time and it will be up to the discretion of the clinician if you can be worked in between them. This may mean you will have a considerable wait. If this is not convenient for you, you may choose to reschedule.
